The Prototype of Porous Ceramics for Heavy-Metal Filtration
Abstract
The efficiency of AgNO3 filtration was tested on barium zirconium titanateBa(Zr0.05Ti0.95)O3 porous ceramic, which was prepared with the tape casting anduniaxial pressing method. The relationship between electrical resistance and filtrationefficiency agreed well with the appropriate pore size and percentage of porosity thatshould be obtained in AgNO3 filtration ceramics.
